It’s now been just over a year since Manchester’s Agvirre dropped Silence, a remarkably promising debut that, through its unique deconstruction of black metal, showcased the trio as ones to watch in the UK scene. The time since its release has given the band a chance to reflect, and to mark the one-year anniversary they have put together a behind-the-scenes look at the making of Silence.
The ten-minute video is a short but intriguing peak behind the curtain, offering an insight into the release’s creation and the themes that run through it, but in its refreshingly intimate nature it also gives you a very real sense of the people behind the music and how who they are influences what they create. Check it out below and, if you haven’t already, be sure to give Silence a listen here.
Silence is out now through Surviving Sounds and Trepanation Recordings. Order here.
